'Yo, babe,' Reno slurred, leaning over Red XIII. 'Ya know ya wanna buy me a drink.'

He winked for good measure.

Again, the biped said something Nanaki wasn't able to really understand. Vous? What was that supposed to mean? He cocked his head in puzzlement up at the red-furred biped. Apparently, they wanted something since the look he was getting felt kinda needy.

Brain juice was required. There was, convienently, two glasses sitting on a large table nearby. Rising to his paws, Nanaki swayed widely and headed to the table, retrieving the glasses and slurping one of the drinks down.

'That'shh my gal,' mumbled Reno, swaying more-than-slightly, before draining the glass in two gulps. Then, quick as a flash, he planted a kiss on Red XIII's nose.

Hmm... Wonder why it'shh shho wet...? Oh, Gawd, she'shh hawt... It'shh Reno'shh lucky night, baby...

Reno suddenly stood, grasping Red's paw in his hand.

'Wanna danshh?'

The door opened with a loud creaking sound, and a young woman in a pink dress stepped in. She scanned the room looking for the little birthday girl. There she was!

“Oh my gosh, Marlene! I’m so, so sorry!” Aerith said, and handed her a little Moogle plushie, and a beautiful flower bouquet.

“Happy birthday, Marlene! Wow, you turned already 7! You became such a pretty little lady, darling”. With a gentle smile on her lips, she brushed a few strands of hair out of Marlene’s face.

“Thank you, Aerith!” replied Marlene, and bounced off happily with her new toy.

Aerith sighed, and made her way to the bar. She went past Reno, who, for reasons she didn't really want to know, hit on Red XIII. WEIRD.

I hope, I'll find someone nice to talk to...

"Hey, Tifa! I don't really know what to drink.. any suggestions?"

"Oh, oh ohohoh! Aerith, here, you gotta try this." Yuffie launched herself across the bar, nearly dropping the camera in the process. She thrust the latest milkshake that Tifa had made for her into the flower girl's hands.

"It's soooo nice, trust me. Now, help me get some good footage. We have some prime time crazy in here, and it's gonna be goooood blackmail material." She paused briefly.

"Oh, and uh... don't mind my tail..."

Aerith sniffed at the milkshake.

“Is there any alcohol in it?“ She looked at Yuffie skeptically, then at her tail, and cocked at eyebrow. But she sipped at the straw anyways.

“Mhh, tasty! Okay, so party pics, huh? Then I should definitely take a picture of those two!” the flower girl pressed the release of Yuffie’s cam, “capturing” Reno and Nanaki.

Having taken Red-tail up on the offer, Nanaki felt even more awkward that usual, possibly because he was hauled up onto his hind legs to stumble around with the biped in a very drunken waltz. Nanaki wasn't made to walk like a biped, but had done so before on an occasion he wasn't sober enough to even try to remember. That latest fruity drink made sure of that.

Oh well; he was having fun at least. His grinned a little at his companion and dragged his floppy tongue upside the redhead's left side of his face, the sandpaper-like texture of his tongue making a scraping sound across what Nanaki though was disturbingly hairless skin.

"Thasssh st-...str-...weird." He mumbled, trying to focus more clearly on Red-tail with his good eye. His vision denied this request and instead offered him a wavy sort of view.

'Oh, ya like it like that, huh?' asked Reno, and, without further ado, he trailed his own tongue up Red's face. Then he took a step back as his jaw dropped.

'Er, don't take thissh wrong or nothin', but you're one hairy chick! Your ma a bandershhnatch or sshomethin'?!'

Dropping into a sit, Nanaki gazed blearily up at Red-tail with a quizzical expression. "Why're yoush soohh schmoosth?" His ear flicked in irritation; hairlessness was something he found extremely offputting, and the tail on the head was barely acceptable to him.

"Are youush mangy?" He asked, gazing critically at the blurry form of Red-tail. "I dun like mangessh."

Huh, that was strange. It seemed the fruity drink he had a moment ago was influencing his speech now.

Mangy?! Who the hell was this hairy... hairy... Who the hell was she?!

Reno slammed his glass down on a nearby table. 'You shhtartin'?!' he asked in fury, balling his hands into fists.

Mangy!

Oooh, agression? That was new, usually the tail to the face was the first step to mating, but agressive behavior was the second step. Obviously, this biped wasn't wasting any time with getting on with anything. In that case, Nanaki quickly gulped down a nearby glass full of wine to muster up his courage.

"Ahh...now..." Rounding on the biped, Nanaki released a bestial growl, his tail straightened all the way to the tip with a small wiggle making it twitch like a plucked gitar string. Slowly, he advanced towards the blurry Red-tail with the air of a predator sneaking up on prey.

What the- ? Well, if she meant business, so did he! He'd show her why people did NOT pick fights with Turks.

Reno flicked his electro-rod on and then gave Red XIII a final warning.

'I mean it, babe,' he said. 'Last chance...'

Uh oh! Tifa said she'd quit having parties if there were anymore fights! Yuffie panicked, thrust the video camera into Aeriths hands and prepared to take action.

"No fighting!" she shrieked, launching herself feet first into Reno's face. She missed slightly, and only clipped him with her heels instead of hitting him straight on. As a result, her landing didn't work out too well either.

"Uhh, Red?" she asked, sitting on the floor. "Where did Reno go?" That question was answered by the floor attempting to move underneath her. She looked down.

"Oh, hello!"

Reno grinned, all thoughts of the hairy catgirl forgotten, and snaked a skinny arm around Yuffie's waist.

'Hey, babe.' He fiddled around with something on her back for a second, and then let out a loud laugh. 'Hey, wouldja look at that? Did it one-handed!'

Aerith grinned and took another picture.

"Oh my, everything okay, you two?" She hold out her hand to help Yuffie and Reno up.

Then she patted Red's head, and emptied the milkshake Yuffie gave her before.

"Tifa, I take another one of these milkshakes!"

Nanaki could only stare, his jaw dropped comically at the scene he was witnessing. Somehow, Blue-tail and Red-tail were together, and the tail ritual?!

His ears flattened; he couldn't take this anymore.

Without further ado, Nanaki padded away from the two, back to his abandoned alcohol bowl (which appeared to have been filled by a colorful slushie) and dumped his entire head into the concoction, sobbing like a broken cub.

With a new Milkshake in her hand, Aerith walked over to Red.

"Shhh,Reddie, whats wrong? You don't look so good!" she gently stroked Nanakis fur, and downed her milkshake.

"You can tell me anything. - And Tifa, I think I need another drink.. Milkshake again, please!"

Slowly, Nanaki picked his head up out of the neon green slushie mixture, licking his chops to rid the cold off of his face. He kept his gaze focused on the faint figures of Blue and Red-tail and wibbled piteously. "I'mmm alwaaassh gonna bee alonesh. I'm gonna DIE alonesh and den I'll-I'll-I'll..."

Nanaki hiccuped consecutively and dropped his head back into his bowl, whimpering a bit more and feeling completely sorry for himself.

"Awww, dear, you'll never be alone!" Aerith hugged him tightly, and patted his head again. Such a poor, poor kitty. She definitely had to cheer him up.

"Do you want to try my milksha -" Aerith' eyes got big as she realised what she was about to say.

"Heehee, ehh, just forget that, okay? Heeheee, I- I forgot that... that... you can't drink with a straw... Right? Right, that's it! Heeeheee" Smiling awkwardly she turned away for a few seconds.

Gosh, that was close! What am I doing?? And why the heck is the room spinning, I only had milkshakes..?

She downed her drink, and turned around to face Nanaki again.

"I think, I should get something new to drink, heehee, be right back, heeheee" With that she turned around, and rushed toward the bar.

(Um, I'm taking over Reno. ^^;)

Reno grinned widely, as he felt triumph take over his drunk brain. As it took several more moments to consume what was actually happening around him, along with what every person or not, was doing he decided to ignore the light pain in the back of his head as he fell down. He pulled Yuffie closer to him and pouted as Aerith pulled them up.

Being down there, was much more fun. But Yuffie didn't need to know that, did she? No, she should so he pulled her down again, only this time the ninja was going to be the one with the back of her head aching lightly. Revenge? Yup.

The red head looked around as the thought of the lack of cameras. He needed attention, he needed first page!

"Oi, where's the camera?!" He yelled drunkely before his attention got distracted by the shiny karaoke machine. That was his next destination as he attempted to yank Yuffie's hand off.
